the location was genuinely perfect. i loved being so close to everything. the staff were really nice and helpful to me. the sensational room i had on the fourth floor overlooked temple grounds, and the views were AMAZING!!!
The room felt a bit cramped, and there was little natural light. A screen outside the window.

the location is very central (i could easily explore). the staff were warm and supportive. the bathroom included bath (perfect to relax after a long day).
the street is narrow and hard to navigate with big luggage.

I found the location really convenient, very close to gion-shijo station, temples, and restaurants. It made exploring easy. the staff was accommodating with luggage delivery! also, the design of my japanese-style room was smart and spacious. the shower had great water pressure. i could easily walk to many places.
i noticed the soundproofing wasn't the best. i could hear noises from outside my door, which reduced privacy a little.
